Armonk Outdoor Art Show: What’s New for Your Artful Weekend

The Armonk Outdoor Art Show has been a fall tradition in our community for 64 years, bringing exceptional artists and art lovers together for a weekend in Northern Westchester. In this episode, I’m joined by Nancy Rosner, Managing Director of the show, to talk about what you can expect this year and the tremendous amount of work that goes into making this nationally recognized event happen.

Nancy shares how her lifelong connection to the Art Show eventually led her to become its Managing Director, as well as how more than 300 volunteers and the town come together to support the event. We talk about the highly selective process behind choosing this year’s 164 artists, including many who will bring something new to the show. We also discuss the return of Armonk Has Heart, which is bringing 20 original heart sculptures into local businesses before they come together at the Art Show and are auctioned to benefit the North Castle Public Library.

Whether you attend every year or are thinking about going for the first time, there will be plenty to discover on September 26th and 27th. From new artists and the family activity tent to food vendors and resources designed to help you feel more confident purchasing art, Nancy gives us a look at what makes this weekend so special. I hope you’ll bring your family, explore the artwork, and enjoy one of Armonk’s favorite fall traditions.
